Understand how our DNS filtering services operate and your responsibilities as a user.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unveil Technology ("we," "our," "us") UnveilDNS cloud DNS filtering services (the "Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Services

Unveil Technology provides UnveilDNS, a cloud-based DNS filtering and security service that blocks malware, ads, trackers, and unwanted content at the DNS level. The service supports multiple DNS protocols including Plain DNS, DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), DNS-over-TLS (DoT), and DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

3. Accounts and Profiles

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Each account may create profiles according to their plan limits (Free: 1 profile, Pro: up to 5 profiles).
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and profiles.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activities.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security measures or rate limits.
  • Use the Services to conduct DNS amplification attacks or other forms of abuse.
  • Share your profile credentials or configuration IDs with unauthorized parties.
  • Resell or redistribute the Services without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.

5. Plans and Quotas

The Services are offered under different plans with specific query quotas:

  • Free Plan: 10,000 DNS queries per day, 1 profile.
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited DNS queries, up to 5 profiles.

When the daily query quota is exceeded on the Free plan, DNS filtering is temporarily bypassed and queries are resolved without filtering until the quota resets. We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with reasonable notice.

6. DNS Filtering

UnveilDNS provides DNS-level filtering using curated blocklists and security databases. While we strive for accuracy:

  • We do not guarantee that all threats will be blocked.
  • False positives may occur; you can use the allowlist to override blocked domains.
  • Filtering is applied at the DNS level only and does not inspect or modify web content.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, documentation, and technology provided as part of UnveilDNS are owned by Unveil Technology or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, security, or availability of the Services. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or complete protection from all DNS-based threats.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unveil Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, or damages arising from unauthorized access, security breaches, or service downtime.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Unveil Technology harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your profiles, configuration, and query logs will be permanently deleted. Provisions relating to liability, indemnification, and intellectual property survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise agreed.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
